Ground balance mode of Metal detection method This method can eliminate the influence of earth
"mineralization reaction", and has better penetrability: therefore, whether indoor or outdoor work, have preferred this way: When detected underground metal objected exist, push mode switch to "recognition" mode to identify the type of metal. When the exploration of the underground metal object exist, species and identification of the documents to identify metal. In the ground balance mode, as long as the sensor coil is moved to the top of the target metal, the instrument will make a continuous sound, any type of metal will make the sound increase, the instrument detection indicator will gradually increasing.
The operation procedure is as following:
1) Operation mode switch to "Ground balance" mode.
2) Raise the probe 70-80 cm off the ground.
3) The power switch is turn on, press the middle button and release, clockwise the power switch
knob until the "critical sound" appear.
4) Let the sensor coil close to the ground, 10-15cm from the ground, if "critical sound" increases, lift
the probe, to press the reset button and then released, turn the adjustment knob counter clockwise, turn left a little bit, and then close to the ground and try again, if the sound increased again,
repeat the above procedure again and turn left little bit , after several adjustments, until the probe
to lift up and down the "critical sound" without change, the balance was fine. Instrument after this
adjustment, the earth's "mineralization reaction" basically excluded, probe moving freely on the
ground will not change the "critical sound" signal. Until detect metallic target.
5) If the probe near the ground in a lower sound, lift the probe, press the reset button and release, then turn the adjustment knob clockwise (rotate to right hand side), then close to ground and try, if the sound still small, then adjust again, until the lift up and put down the probe sound still the same.
6) Note: Before each of the above adjustments, Press the button and release.
7) According to the above adjustment, we can slowly moving the probe along the ground, in the process of detection the instrument should always keep the "buzzing" critical sound, if sound slowly increases or decreases, can press the reset button to make the "critical" sound returned to normal. If a metal is detecting, the instrument sound will issue a big sound, the sensitivity detection will light up
gradually increasing.
